WARNING; Here There Be Spoilers;
We're introduced to Myoubi and Ryouko's relationship the moment Myoubi first throws herself into Ryouko's arms after an injury in volume 1, gleefully snuggling against 'her master' as the injury heals itself. She seems delighted to see him, while he seems at best distantly amused by her affections. From then on the entire dynamic only gets more and more strange, with both characters taking turns playing master or servant depending on the moment at hand. One minute Myoubi's goading Ryouko into action, the next he's ordering her around.
Judging by the events of Ryouko's back story in volume 3, I'd say it's a definite that Myoubi is in love with Ryouko, though she handles it somewhat inelegantly. She doesn't seem to understand the sudden compulsion to stay by this favored human without devouring his soul, and takes it out on anyone he gets close to for years before finally revealing herself.
Through the tragedy that follows, Ryouko eventually consents to their strangely warped bond, but his feelings on the matter are a bit more open to interpretation--he seems to despise her for destroying anyone who dared get close to him for so many years and allowing Matsurika to do as she pleased, but after so long together there are moments of grudging affection between the two that call into question whether he would really destroy her when her half of their bargain is fulfilled.
It may not be the penultimate of cavity inducing twu wuv, but the twisted dynamic that follows is interesting enough when you can never be sure where either of their loyalties lie and what they're going to do next.
